The Elite Theatre Company were formed by a professional theatrical team, to give professional theatre experiences to amateur performers throughout Yorkshire. 

PRODUCER
Laura Glaholm

Laura has been a producer in theatre settings for 9 years, having produced over 30 shows including musicals, plays and revue shows, the last 5 of which have gained acclaimed reviews by the National Operatic and Dramatic Association. Originally trained as a professional musician, Laura also trained and worked as a lighting designer and controller, designing lighting for over 15 shows.
As a qualified teacher with an MA in Teaching and Learning, Laura is Deputy Director of Learning for Performance Faculty at a Secondary school. She is also a BTEC Quality Nominee responsible for ensuring the consistent high standards of learning provision. 
Laura is the owner of Elite Theatre Company's sister company, the Elite Entertainment Group who have operated as a provider of professional entertainment and event solutions since 2009.

PRODUCER
Lewis Dixon

Lewis has been performing live on stage for many years, having taken over 10 leading roles and many more chorus parts in musical theatre. Currently training for a BA in Musical Theatre at the University of West London, Lewis is at the forefront of theatre developments in the UK.  
Lewis is a director of Elite Theatre Company's sister company, the Elite Entertainment Group who have operated as a provider of professional entertainment and event solutions since 2009.

DIRECTOR
Tony Booth-Lydon

Performing since the age of 8, Tony left school and completed a 3 year foundation course in Drama and Theatre Arts and went on to train for a further 3 years at East 15 Acting School in Essex, graduating in both Acting and Directing. Tony has performed in or directed over 200 shows in regional theatre, the West End and abroad including a stint teaching Shakespeare to professional actors in America. Tony was invited to become the 2nd year Tutor at East 15 and went on to be creative director of numerous productions at their prestigious Corbett Theatre. 
Tony’s training in the methods established by Konstantin Stanislavsky and Lee Strasberg, amongst others, along with the techniques passed down by members of Joan Littlewood’s Theatre Workshop means that every production is a journey of discovery with performers finding hidden depths and talents leading to strong performances with outstanding professionalism and belief. Having worked in community theatre projects in the early years of his career Tony has always been keen to work with young performers who may not have the opportunity to attend Drama school but have the dedication and drive to learn and strive for a career in the performing arts.

MUSICAL DIRECTOR
Tom Peach

Tom Peach graduated with a First Class BMus Degree in Music in 2013, and a Master's Degree in Musicology in 2015 with a specialism in musical theatre. He is currently undertaking a second Master's Degree in Librarianship whilst working as a specialist music and performing arts librarian in a large college.
Tom has worked in theatre for over 10 years in a wide range of roles: pit musician; rehearsal pianist; stage manager; front of house manager; educator; and most recently, musical director. He has worked in opera, musicals, plays and concert settings, with performers both amateur and professional, youth and adult.  

FOH, ADMINISTRATION and PRESS OFFICER
Amy Northern

Amy has a wide range of experience working in theatre and education, as well as working as an events co-ordinator for the Elite Entertainment Group. Amy has been involved in over 10 musical productions and has over 5 years experience in events management.
 Whilst she completes her master’s degree in law, Amy is putting her experience and her customer-focused approach into practice as our theatrical FOH, Administration and Press Officer.
